The Bozo Nightmare Ramrod Boston MA May 27, 2009

A supposedly “joke” band, the Bozos were fronted by a straight shirtless guy. The music was more Top Gun than anything, it sounded good and looked good but it was obvious this wasn’t a real band. They headlined for the Burnt Fur on purpose, I heard.

Entertaining but who was left to care.

    How could they simultaneously be a ‘supposedly “joke” band’ and obviously not a real band? Were they a real band or not? I have a feeling we’ll hear more from those guys. Is the singer really straight? I heard otherwise…

    But yeah, very entertaining at least.

    Hy guys,

    I am the singer from The Bozo Nightmare and we are a real band.Scott singer from Burnt Fur and Keiffer our bass player were in Tracy Husky together back in the day.Scott needed an opening band for the show last night(BF played 1st said it was a better slot …not sure exactly why ..maybe some of their fans needed to get home early) so he asked Keiffer if he had anything going on and keiffer said ya but really he didnt, keiffer knew i had some songs we jammed on in the past but he always had another project going on, It was the right time to launch The Bozo Nightmare! We didnt know if we could pull it off in only 3 weeks! So we practiced 5 times before last night and we think we kicked ass!

    We are going to continue on as a band ! We are very excited to rock on in 2009!

    as for the is he gay or is he straight…..hmmm i guess I’ll keep you all guessing !

    Hmm maybe you just didn’t stay for the whole set? They did start off a bit rocky, but it was also their first show. By the end the hilarious lyrics and the insane bass beating at the songs were fun to dance to and laugh at! Who doesn’t like to smirk at something? The lead singer’s androgyny circulated like a rumor or just perfect for Ramrod…I heard Burnt Fur curated the show, got their DJ back to do the night and selected the band based on the lyrics…anyway I had fun! Great with beer.
